Pure P10 - How PURE are you?

So you have decided to get some new alloys and are worried what will happen to your speed once you have. Will your speedo read 60MPH but you are really doing 62 MPH? this could be a real problem when it comes to speed cameras and the manual speed traps that the police occasionally deploy around the country.

Below is a wheel and tyre calculator that not only will let you see the difference in the old and the new wheels and tyre's but will also give you a guide to the speed you will be doing with the new wheel/tyre combination.

The "Stock tire" settings are set to the original level of a P10 that has 14" wheels with stock tyre's, and the "New tire" settings are set to 17" with low profile tyre's but you can change this by changing the settings and see what comes out.

Note: Below are the wheel specs for a Nissan Primera made between 1991 and 1996

A sensible choice for your new wheels and tyre combo would be:

7x 17" Alloys
Tyres - 205/40/X17

Or if you are feeling like a bad boy how about:

7.5x 18" Alloys
Tyres - 215/35/18
