The J.A.E is been and gone and as many of you know I have not been able to run the site for the last 5 weeks. I am back now and getting back to the job in hand. | What is special about your car? |
Pretty much the whole car from the looks, to the sounds it makes and the way it sticks to the road.
I can sit and look at my car all day and see all the different angles i never seen before or drive about and listen to the exhaust then go for a blast down the B roads round here which are amazing.
For me it has to be the exhaust I love it, it's so intimidating driving though a town people turn their heads then seeing the shock on them as they were probibly expecting a chavmobile.
Also love letting novas etc rev up in front of me then I let rip and watch their smiles slowly slide off their faces I get alot of satisfaction from that.
| What was the hardest mod? |
The rear shelf it has to be, me and lacy built it in 4 hours flat! Basically my payday was the morning of the first day of jae 2005. We cut the shelf by hand because my jigsaw died within a few cuts. Had to wire in the amp and new head unit with time ticking away.
Think the looks off it were spot on and never looked as if it was made in such a small amount of time. we've been offered a sub contract because of it which is really a great achievement for me and lacy as it was our first proper install.
The wheels they made the car in honesty, after months of photoshopping my car with different rims I never even had to photoshop them cause they looked so good just in a picture by themselfs though I had to wait ages for them it was worth it. Everyone loves them esspecially me.
Though I love it its the exhaust. I will never buy another from powerflow the amount of mending i've had to do isnt worth the money I payed for it.. they over strecthed the joints and cut short them so it kept leaking.
| What are you going to do next? |
I think once i've got my SX sorted which isn't far away. i'm going to look to euroupe for a t4(4wd) and turn it into an out and out drift car to be honest i've lost interest in fwd and na cars now i've started playing with turbos and going sideways there isn't any going back for me.
One mate said to me whats the point of proving you a good na tuner cause you wont get results you would with a turbo. Turbo is were its at, to me these are the words that stopped me going further with ies racing though the money & months of time i'd already spent in development of the engine i gave up imiediatly with these words being said to me cause they make sense.
