Well congratulations to Hoody for becoming the first ever Spot Light car Here are the questions we asked and the answers just as he said them:

How dose it feel to you have a spotlight car?

Made me very happy to find out that my P10 was up for the January 2005 Spotlight!! Feels like all the hard work is worth it in the end, not only having a car that I cherish and enjoy driving but is also reconised by others as a worthy car to go on show on a dedicated car club website as a good quality P10!

What is special about your car?

Cos' its a eGT yeeeehaw! :) !!!! No really, there are not many p10 eGT's around, and it was lovely to come across a near enough mint one to own! The car is in great condition, which I have the previous owner (spider) to thank for.... (cheers mate), the other special thing is that its frickin fast!!! :)

What was your best mod?

Slamming it 40mm!!! The ride of the car once lowered changes drastically, you can suddenly feel the road more ,and cornering
is second to none, the P10 handles superbly, especially when used in conjunction with a strut brace! Also the lowering of the car makes it more visually attractive and complements the rest cars looks.

What was the hardest mod?

The grille! What seemed to be an easy job in planning, turned out to be a bit of a nightmare, I Didn't wanna use the original grille incase I fluffed it up, So I had to hunt round loads of breakers looking for an old p10 grille, most of the cars at the breakers had frontal damage so it was like hunting for gold dust! Finally I found one, but being so thrilled to find one at last, I hurried and clumsily ripped it out to fast and it snapped in two...Doh! Got one in the end tho, then it was off to to visit me Dad who owns the 'garage of dreams', every tool you can possibly wish for, cut out the middle with the Dremmel, packed in the p38, then all weekend sanding the bugger down! then came the painting which I did in me shed, big mistake, i must of been coffin up and sneezing out red paint for about a week!! (note to self: use a blooming mask next time!) Fitted the mesh...........then, Finally the grille went on, and for such a small amount of bodywork to mod, took forever to complete! Worth it tho!:)

What was your best buy?

Has to be the wheels, love em!!! wolfrace urban racer 7's , gives the P10 the look I've been after.

What was your worst buy?

Neon's!!! on the way back from Brandshatch they fell off on the motorway doing about 90, bits of L.E.D
and wire trailing six foot behind me, It was only when I looked in the mirror to see a big bright blue kinda string
thing whipping away at me boot, that I realised what happen ed... next time I will have to super dupa glue em on!

What are you going to do next?

After the M.O.T is out the way, I will get a de-cat pipe and sort out the zorst, (I have a flame out kit sitting here, may fit it, summers coming soon , and it will be a handy gadget to light the barbecue with!) Also would like to work more on the engine bay, may also look into getting road-race cams and a new header! Then back to the rolling road!!I've looked at getting a turbo ,but with the price that comes attached, the bank sadly says NO! Also I have found that another certain car manufacturer makes add on skirts that fit on to the eGt's, gives the impression that the car is riding an even lower height, so that is also on my shopping list! oh yeah, and a kettle that goes into the ciggy lighter so I can Have a nice cuppa at the JAE!:) :) :)

Thanks for taking time to read!! Hope you enjoy your P10 as much as I do mine!!!!!!!!!;)
